Zurich Airport has developed into Switzerland’s most important transport epicenter, and is celebrating 75 years since their maiden flight with a look back at their long history and a look forward towards the future.
Zurich Airport will celebrate their 75th anniversary will hold an airport festival from September 1st through September 3rd with a exhibition and many other features as well. Here is an outline of their festivities in 2023:
- May 2023: Launch of airport history
- June 14, 2023: Opening of the anniversary exhibition at Airport Shopping
September 1-3, 2023: airport festival with President of the Swiss Confederation, Alain Berset, being one of the guests of honor at the official ceremony on Friday evening
